Get ready for one of the most competitive and high-energy sessions of the offseason — the Shooters vs. Stoppers Clinic.
This clinic is built for attackers, midfielders, and goalies who want to get better through live, game-like reps and elite instruction. Shooters will get the chance to fire hundreds of quality reps against top-level goalies, while goalies face consistent, high-tempo looks that challenge their positioning, reaction time, and confidence in the cage.
All players will receive coaching from former division 1 goalies and offensive players, focusing on technique, decision-making, and the finer details that separate good players from great ones.
Goalies will work directly with Matt Shaffer and Nick Floyd, refining footwork, angles, and consistency under pressure. Matt Shaffer was a goalie at the University of Vermont for four years and was the 7th ranked goalie in the nation in save percentage in 2023. Nick Floyd played goalie at Saint Joseph's University from 2020-2024 and Lenoir-Rhyne University in 2025.
Offensive players will be coached by Dave Closterman and Jeb Brenfleck, breaking down shot deception, release mechanics, and how to score against top-tier keepers. Dave Closterman was a 5 year starter at the University of Vermont, and is the only player in program history to have 100 goals and 100 assists during their career. Jeb Brenfleck played four years at Penn State University, where he was a part of their 2023 final four run, and finished as a starter for his 5th year at High Point University.
